This is the story of Brian Regan, an ex-military man working for the NRO, who decided to sell classified information to Libya, Iraq, Iran, and China. It is also the story of the joint effort of the FBI, CIA, NRO, NSA, and various other agencies who assisted in the capture and conviction of Regan, as well as the retrieval of all of the classified information which had been taken. This is a non-fiction story, but dont let that fool you into thinking it is going to be a dry telling of facts. This book read like a spy novel. It also reminded me of Catch Me if You Can. It is riveting.
In the early 1990s, Motorola, the legendary American technology company developed a revolutionary satellite system called Iridium that promised to be its crowning achievement. Light years ahead of anything previously put into space, and built on technology developed for Ronald Reagan’s “Star Wars,” Iridium’s constellation of 66 satellites in polar orbit meant that no matter where you were on Earth, at least one satellite was always overhead, and you could call Tibet from Fiji without a delay and without your call ever touching a wire.Iridium the satellite system was a mind-boggling technical accomplishment, surely the future of communication. The only problem was that Iridium the company was a commercial disaster.

First off, I realize this is a childrens book but I love anything Tim Burton. I am also a big Art freak. I love drawing, painting, sketching and have a huge appreciation for the talent of others who create it.
